In day-to-day life the context in which we see someone doing something affects our interprettion of theor actvity. For we someone running might be interpreted as fleeing, exercising or catching a bus depening on whether it is seen on the battlefield, gym or shopping street. Some modelling of context is thus essential in AI systems that seek to interpret human activty including context-aware interaction, activity recognition, implicit interaction, and incidental interaction.
